high quality, professional images
From your school website to your prospectus, having professional photography can make a huge difference to the way your school is perceived. We produce vibrant and expressive images capturing your pupils and school environment in a really positive light.
All our shoots are well planned to ensure we achieve the widest range of shots. Hive will take a range of shots of the school building and facilities both inside and outside to showcase your school. However to create an engaging set of images we try to capture as many curriculum areas as possible. PE, art, music and science are all subjects which produce vibrant and varied images. It is equally important to capture life at school, such as meal times, playtime and clubs. We also aim to capture as many different pupils as possible to provide you with a flexible range of images. We can even take staff portraits for use internally or on your website.
All our shoots are aimed to cause the minimum of disruption to the school day and our highly experienced photographers and art director will ensure that pupils (and staff!) are at ease in front of the camera. To future proof our images we focus the shoots on the younger year groups at your school. Images of past pupils should not be used once they have left, so this enables the images to last longer.
We always strive to achieve the best possible images for your school. Therefore we are always happy to schedule an alternative date to try to get the best weather for a backdrop to your shots.
Once we’ve captured the images, we colour correct and complete any re-touching necessary. We then create a PDF contact sheet for easy reference to the shots and supply you with all the high-res images on disc for your future use.
what our clients say about us
“I have dealt with Hive since 2009, during which time they have provided my school with excellent support in the areas of website design, branding and photography. I can confidently recommend Hive as experts in their field and would thoroughly recommend them.”
