Illustrated Wall Graphics
Bishop Bridgeman CE Primary School
We were tasked with designing and installing over 250 square metres of illustrated wall graphics. In just over 6 weeks! Including a new photography shoot for Bishop Bridgeman in Bolton.
The school wanted to bring their values alive through engaging, colourful and thoughtful images. Including messages that would brighten and refresh a huge area of the school. The multi lingual graphics run through three corridors and a two story stairwell.
The school wanted very detailed and colourful illustrated wall graphics. The areas were generally very dull and dark. They also wanted the graphics to engage the pupils for the long term. Enabling pupils to spot little details within in the designs such as tiny ladybirds. These little details would not be noticeable on first looking. There are many messages throughout the graphics, from staying safe online, aspirations and careers to exploring the world.
A photography shoot was also undertaken. The images of the pupils were used within the graphics in an imaginative way. Longevity was also considered as the images were used in such a way as to be able to be updated with new pupil images in the future.
