OFSTED inspection report summary booklet
Ofsted reports are a vital part of school assessment. No matter the outcome, it is something your school, will wish to share with parents, teachers and the wider community.
Creating a summary booklet is an excellent way to present your Ofsted report in a clear, professional, and engaging format that is easy to digest. Whether you’re highlighting the successes of your inspection or focusing on areas for improvement and future plans, this tool will help you communicate the information in an informative and accessible way.
The Content
The booklet will include all the key findings from the report. It will also highlight recommendations and include quotes about the school. One advantage of the booklet format is that you can provide your own introduction and conclusion. This helps to set the report in context and provide further understanding.
Bespoke Design
Hive create a bespoke design for each booklet. Every design is unique to each school. The design aims to represent the ethos of your school, by utilising your school logo and school. The easy-to-read booklets can also include photography. This could be new images captured by Hive, or previous photography you have had produced or taken yourselves. Either way the photography will be seamlessly incorporated within a vibrant and engaging design. The text will also be broken down into manageable sections. Then important details such as quotes from parents and pupils can be emphasised within the design.
Variety of Uses
These booklets can also actively encourage parental engagement and the sharing of the learning from the report. Unlike full Ofsted reports which are often not read in full by parents. For parents, this is a much more accessible, interesting and easier to understand format.
However, the booklets are not only helpful for current parents and stakeholders, but they are also great to use as a marketing tool for prospective parents. They can be shared with your prospectus, at parent evenings and even on your website, as an interactive ‘turning page’ booklet.
