School Website Design

Our Lady & St John in Blackburn were looking to update their website. They were in need of a more informative and accessible school website design. A more professional, clean feel is what we had in mind for the end result.

The home page of the new website is now a more interactive. This has been achieve by introducing new Facebook and Twitter feeds. The feeds are really useful to have on the home page as it helps the website always look refreshed, with little effort!

There’s also new latest news, gallery feeds and a quick links area to the site. These are all elements of good school website design help to keep parents up to date with what is going on in and around the school. The school video is also prominently positioned on the Home page and can be updated and replaced easily.

The website is now fully optimised for search engines and is fully responsive too. The website can now be updated by staff using Hive’s Content Management System.

Their partner school site St Patrick’s RC High School have also had some updates applied to their website! The updates made to the sites keep continuity between the two reflecting the close partnership that they enjoy.
